A public artwork for the City of Marion as a part of the Woodlands Park railway station redevelopment.
The work draws from the history of the area, referencing the story of William Maxwell who lived in the area creating work which still stands around Adelaide, and installed battlements and renovations to his home in Woodlands Park area so that it resembled a Scottish Castle.
The cast concrete seats reference the lost natural history of the area, woodlands cut down and covered in concrete to make way for suburbs and shopping centres.
